1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Event Cancellation by TT:

• In case Tricky Travellers cancels an event due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, political situations, or safety concerns:

• Participants will be notified as soon as possible.

• A full refund will be issued, or participants can opt to reschedule for a future event.

Participant Cancellations:

• Cancellations made 4 weeks or more before the event: 100% refund.

• Cancellations made within 3 weeks of the event: 50% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 3 weeks before the event: No refund will be provided.

Refund Exceptions:

• Refunds after the no-refund period will only be considered for exceptional cases, such as a medical emergency, and must be supported by valid documentation.

Refund Processing:

• All refund requests must be sent in writing via email or WhatsApp.

• Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method.

No-Show Policy:

• Participants who do not show up at the designated time and location will not be eligible for any refund or rescheduling.

2. Code of Conduct Policy

During Events:

• Participants must adhere to event guidelines, including respecting event schedules and instructions from the coordinators.

• Follow a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol, smoking, or any substance abuse during our mindful and family-friendly events.

• Ensure respectful interaction with other participants and local communities.

Local Heritage and Nature:

• Avoid touching, damaging, or defacing monuments, plants, or natural landscapes.

• Follow the “Leave No Trace” principle: carry back all personal waste.

Violation:

• Disregarding these policies may result in exclusion from the event without a refund, and legal action may be initiated if necessary.

3. Terms of Service

Event Details:

• Timings, itineraries, and costs are subject to change. Participants will be notified of changes well in advance.

• If participants join an event midway, they are responsible for catching up with the group at their own expense.

Participant Responsibilities:

• Fitness Levels: Ensure you meet the physical requirements of the event. Some events may involve walking long distances or uneven terrain.

• Health Conditions: Participants with specific medical needs or dietary restrictions must inform us in advance.

• Belongings: Keep personal valuables secure. Tricky Travellers is not liable for loss or theft.

Event Age Restrictions:

• Family-friendly events are open to all age groups unless specified. Certain events may require participants to be above 18 years old.

4. Ethical and Responsible Travel Policy

Cultural Sensitivity:

• Dress modestly and respect local customs when visiting heritage sites or interacting with communities.

• Ask for permission before photographing locals, especially in rural or tribal regions.

Support Local Communities:

• We prioritize working with local guides, artisans, and vendors to boost their livelihoods.

• Some portions of our event proceeds go toward community development initiatives or conservation projects.

Environmental Responsibility:

• Participants must avoid single-use plastics and carry reusable bottles, utensils, and eco-friendly bags.

• Avoid activities that disturb local wildlife or ecosystems, like feeding animals or picking plants.

5. Intellectual Property Policy

• All photographs, videos, and written content featured on our website are protected by copyright laws.

• If you wish to use any of our content for personal or promotional purposes, prior permission must be obtained in writing.

Participant Contributions:

• Photos or videos shared by participants during events may be used by Tricky Travellers for promotional purposes. Participants can opt out by notifying us.

6. Communication Policy

Customer Support:

• Our team is available to answer queries via email, WhatsApp, or phone during business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday-Saturday).

• We strive to respond to all queries within 24-48 hours.

Event Communication:

• Registered participants will receive event details, reminders, and updates through email, WhatsApp, or SMS.

• Ensure your contact information is accurate to avoid missing out on important updates.

7. Liability Policy

• Tricky Travellers will not be held responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during events, except in cases of gross negligence.

• Participants are encouraged to have travel insurance to cover emergencies.
