Two characters from exceptionally different backgrounds have to travel together by road and train. The location is Delhi and the road trip makes them both notice what they've been neglecting in their lives. The highways they take and the people they encounter is what travelling is all about I.e. gaining new experiences. Chalo Dilli is about two contrasting characters who travel together on a road trip from Mumbai to Delhi exploring the colours and cultures of India's rural and urban towns.

This marvelous adventure is a life-changing event for Walter, who ends up becoming a better positive individual who discontinues the fantasies for real-life events. The movie is motivating, lighthearted, and comedic at periods. This performance is one of Ben Stiller's best, the cinematography is extraordinary, and the soundtrack is incredible.
