📍 Region: Kangra Valley, Himachal Pradesh
📅 Dates: 18th – 21st June
Limited spots. Endless memories. Join the journey.
The Dhauladhar Trail is not a journey designed around rigid schedules or rushed sightseeing. It is an experience that unfolds slowly, allowing the mountains, the people, and the moments in between to shape the rhythm of each day.
Our journey begins on the morning of 18th June and gently comes to a close on the evening of 21st June. Between these four days lies a flow of experiences carefully woven together through nature, culture, stillness, and connection.
Some parts of the journey are planned thoughtfully. Others are left open intentionally. Because the most meaningful travel experiences are rarely the ones written line by line on an itinerary. They happen unexpectedly, during a quiet walk through a village, over chai with locals, while listening to mountain stories, or simply sitting silently as the evening light disappears behind the peaks.
We take care of everything that matters: your stay, your comfort, your movement through the mountains, and the overall flow of the experience. What we leave space for is the human side of travel. The unplanned moments. The pauses. The feeling of truly being somewhere instead of just passing through it.
This journey is intentionally intimate and away from crowds. We stay in homestays, move slowly, and experience the region in a way that feels grounded rather than curated. There is structure beneath the surface, always. But there is also freedom, to wander, to observe, to connect, and to let the mountains reveal themselves naturally.
The Dhauladhar Trail is not about doing more.
It is about experiencing more deeply.
And sometimes, that is exactly what stays with you the longest.
We like to keep things simple, transparent, and respectful, just the way we travel. By joining this experience, you agree to the following guidelines that help us create a smooth and meaningful journey for everyone.
1. Booking & Confirmation
Your spot is confirmed only after full payment is received.
Since we work with limited group sizes, all bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
If payment is not completed within the shared timeline, your spot may be released to someone else.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because we make advance commitments for stays, transport, and local experiences.
If you’re unable to join after confirming, you may arrange a replacement with prior approval from us. The responsibility of finding a replacement lies with you, and the transfer will be confirmed only once we approve it.
No refunds will be provided for late arrivals, early departures, or missed experiences during the trip.
A full refund will only be issued if the trip is canceled by us.
3. Travel & Stay
Travel to and from the starting point is not included unless explicitly mentioned.
All stays are on a shared basis unless stated otherwise. We carefully choose places that reflect the spirit of the journey, and we expect participants to respect the property, staff, and surroundings.
Any damage caused to property or belongings will be chargeable to the individual responsible.
4. The Nature of This Journey
While we ensure structure, safety, and a smooth flow, the journey is designed to remain flexible. Plans may shift based on weather, local conditions, or the natural rhythm of the place.
Some of the best moments are unplanned, and we leave space for them.
5. Changes & Unforeseen Circumstances
In case of weather changes, roadblocks, natural calamities, or any situation beyond our control, we may need to modify the itinerary, stays, or travel plans.
No refunds will be issued for such changes, but we will always ensure your safety and do our best to maintain the experience.
6. Health & Personal Responsibility
Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical and mental fitness for the trip.
Any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements must be informed in advance.
In case of a medical emergency, necessary arrangements will be made, but any associated costs will be borne by the participant.
7. Behaviour & Community
This is a shared experience, and the energy of the group matters.
We expect everyone to be respectful towards fellow travellers, locals, cultures, and spaces we enter.
Any form of harassment, discrimination, aggression, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the trip without refund if their behaviour disrupts the group or the experience.
8. Alcohol & Safety
Participants are fully responsible for their actions at all times. Any behaviour that compromises safety, either your own or the group’s, will be taken seriously.
All safety instructions shared by the host or local team must be followed.
9. Liability
While we take every measure to ensure a safe and comfortable experience, Tricky Travellers is not liable for any injury, loss of life, delay, accident, or damage to personal belongings during the trip.
10. Punctuality & Participation
We travel as a group, and timings matter. Participants are expected to be on time for departures and activities. While participation in experiences is optional, respecting group movement and timelines is important.
11. Photography & Content
We often capture moments from our journeys to share the story. By joining, you agree that photos and videos taken during the trip may be used for documentation and promotional purposes, unless you inform us otherwise in writing.
You’re always welcome to create and share your own content, while being mindful of others’ privacy.
12. Final Note
By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.
Our decisions during the trip will always be guided by safety, group harmony, and the overall experience. In such matters, the host’s decision will be final.
We don’t just travel together. We share space, stories, and moments. These guidelines simply help us do that better.
