Delhi is not just a city of monuments, it is a city of poetry, rebellion, memory, longing, and survival.

Join us for an intimate baithak where we reconstruct the life of 18thโ€“19th century Delhi through the people who witnessed its rise, decline, and transformation. Through emperors, poets, reformers, courtiers, and chroniclers, we revisit a Delhi that once breathed through the lanes of Shahjahanabad.

From the fading Mughal court of Bahadur Shah Zafar to the haunting words of Ghalib after 1857, this evening will explore the stories, emotions, and politics that shaped the soul of the city.
