On the event of World Tourism Day, the Tourism Department of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday sorted out different exercises including water sports and the 'Shikara race' in Dal Lake, Srinagar.
The division has approached to arrange the occasion to launch the travel industry exercises in the Union Territory in the midst of the Covid pandemic.
Nisar Ahmad Wani, Director Tourism, Kashmir stated, "We are praising the event over the Union Territory. We have sports exercises and social projects at different places of interest like Srinagar, Gulmarg."

On the event, Bilki Shamir, National Coach of Kayaking and Canoeing said that the organization has sorted out the program. During the program, individuals will see exercises like Kayaking, Canoeing, Shikara race, surfing.
